So if you want to keep an important post at the first position of your Facebook page fee,d here is how you can do it by pinning the post to the top:

Open up the Facebook page
Search for the Facebook post that you want to pin to the top
Click on the three dots on the top right corner of the Facebook post
Select here the ‘Pin to Top of page’ option

That’s it, your Facebook post has been pinned to the top of the page.

Unpin a post on Facebook

If you change your mind, you can unpin a Facebook post anytime you want by doing pretty much the same as when you are pinning a post:

Open up the Facebook page.
Go to the Facebook post that you have pinned to the top.
Click on the three dots on the top right corner of the Facebook post
Select here the ‘Unpin from Top of page’ option.

You can only pin one Facebook post at a time for Facebook pages. You have a higher limit for Facebook groups.

I can’t pin a Facebook post, why?

You have to be either a Facebook page admin or editor to be able to pin a post, otherwise Facebook won’t show you this option when you click on the three dots.

Open the Facebook app. It looks like a white F on a blue background. Tap teh app on your Home screen to open Facebook.
- If prompted to sign in, type in your username and password, then click Log In.

Tap the search box. It is at the top of the screen.

Type in the name of a Facebook page you manage. A list of search results will begin to appear as you type.

Tap on a Facebook page. Your Facebook page will load in the screen below.

Scroll down and tap the ⋯ icon on a post. It will be the icon with three dots in the top right corner of the post. A drop-down menu will appear underneath.

Tap Pin to Top. The page will reload, and the post will appear above the rest at the top of the page.
- To unpin a post, navigate to the post on your Facebook page, tap the ⋯ icon, then tap Unpin From Top.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in a web browser. You cannot pin a post using the Facebook Android app. So if you want to pin a post on Android, you'll need to do it using a web browser. You can use Google Chrome, Firefox, or any other app.
