Assalamualaikum wr.wb
Halo sobat blogger senang rasanya bisa nulis di blog ini lagi, kali ini admin akan sharing pengalaman admin mengatasi pesan close ink cover pada printer brother MFC-J430W. Ceritanya admin di suruh ngecek printer tersebut apakah masih bagus atau tidak setelah coba di hidupkan, lalu admin masukan tabung tintanya munculah pesan error close ink cover.
Loh kok gini ?? tapi kalau admin lepas tabung tintanya dan menutup cover tintanya printer bisa beroperasi, tapi kan gak ada tintanya ??
Akhirnya coba googling dan alhamdulillah ketemu solusinya
ternyata masalah sepele admin lupa menutup sensor yang ada di dekat tabung tinta yang fungsinya agar tinta dapat terdeteksi bentuknya seperti ini
pasang penutup sensor dengan posisi ujung yang berberigi ada di sebelah luar sedangkan ujung lainnya di masukan ke dalam

The MFCJ450DW, MFCJ470DW, MFCJ475DW have the same control panel.
1. Verify the message displayed on the LCD:
- If the display reads "COVER IS OPEN CLOSE INK COVER", continue to STEP 2.
- If the display reads "COVER IS OPEN PLEASE CLOSE THE SCANNER COVER" go to STEP 3.
a. Open the ink cartridge cover located in the front of the machine, on the right side.
b. Close the ink door securely.
- If the message clears on the screen, then the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
- If the message is still on the LCD, then go to STEP 2c.
c. Press down on the release levers to release all 4 ink cartridges. Do not remove from machine.
d. Push each of the 4 cartridges in slowly until it clicks into place and the lever will be in upright position.
e. Close the ink door securely.
- If the message is cleared from the display, the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
- If the message continues on the display, then go to STEP 2f.
f. Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet for 5 seconds.
g. Plug the AC power cord back in.
- If the message is cleared, then the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
3. SCANNER COVER OPEN
a. Lift the scanner cover using the plastic tabs, located on the left and right side of the machine.
b. Gently push the scanner cover down until it locks into place.
- If the message is cleared, then the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
- If the message continues on the display, then go to STEP 3c.
c. Lift the scanner cover using the plastic tabs, located on the left and right side of the machine.
d. Check to make sure the USB cable is routed properly in the slot provided along the right side of the machine.
NOTE: The USB cable must be routed under the tabs and out the opening in the back. If your cable is not long enough to route correctly and plug into the computer, you will need to obtain a longer USB cable.
e. Gently close the scanner cover.
- If the message is cleared, then the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
- If the message continues on the display, then go to STEP 3f.
f. Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet for 5 seconds.
g. Plug the AC power cord back in.
- If the message is cleared, then the issue is resolved.
- If a different message is displayed, refer to the solution for the message displayed on the LCD.
