What Facebook is all about is sharing images and videos with your friends. However, you may have observed that the quality of your photos decreases when you post them to your Facebook profile page. This is because their sharpness and crispness have reduced after being uploaded.  

Facebook degrades the quality of every image, whether it was taken with a DSLR or an iPhone. When you zoom closer on a photo, it will also seem blurry and lose tiny details. When you post your pictures to Facebook, they are compressed.
