Send Photos on Android Phone
There are multiple ways to send Photos on Android Phone and an average Android user is likely to use most of these methods, depending on the situation.
For example, if you receive a text message or Email requesting Photos, you can reply to the message and attach the requested photos to your text or email.
If you are on a holiday and taking lots of Photos, you may want to go through the Photos Gallery and send a few selected Photos to your friends or relatives, right from the Gallery.
1. Send Photos on Android Phone Using Photos App
If you are browsing Photos in the Photos App, you can make use of the Sharing feature in Photos App to select and send Photos using Messages App, Gmail, WhatsApp and other Apps.
Open the Photos app on your Android Phone or Tablet. Next, tap and hold on the Photo that you would like to send. You will see a check mark appearing on the photo.
If required, select other Photos that you want to send by tapping on them. Once the Photos are selected, Tap on the Share icon

Send Photo via Gmail
- Open the “Gmail” app.

- Type a recipient’s email address in the “To” field.
- Tap the Paperclip icon, then choose “Attach file“.
- Navigate to and select the image you wish to attach.
- Complete your message, then send it. Your file will be attached to the message.

- Open the “Photos” app.
- Tap and hold the image you wish to send. Additionally, you can then select any other photos you wish to send.
- Select the “Share” button.
- Select the method you wish to use to send the image (“Gmail”, “Messages”, etc.).
