There are lots of details you can add to an event in the iPhone’s Calendar app. Along with basic options, like changing the title, time, date, and location, you can also add attachments to an event you’ve added to your calendar.
Wondering what attachments you can add to your iPhone Calendar and how to do it? Here’s everything there is to know.
What Attachments Can You Add to an iPhone Calendar Event?
You can add any files you have downloaded on your iPhone to a Calendar event, as well files from services like iCloud Drive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. You just need to make sure those services are turned on and connected with the Calendar App. If you don’t know where your file is, learn how to find downloaded files on an iPhone.
There is an endless list of what you can attach to an event: a flight ticket, an invitation, appointment details, hotel reservations, photos, emails, letters, and much more.
Adding an attachment to a Calendar event is the perfect way to stay organized and keep all relevant information in one place without having to scramble around to look for it later.

The iPhone comes with a built-in calendar application -- appropriately titled "Calendar" -- that enables you to mark upcoming events on the appropriate dates so you do not forget them. For example, if you either need to take an important flight or a relative is flying in to stay with you, you can add the flight to your calendar to remind you when the flight is going to either take off or come in. Adding a flight to the iPhone's calendar follows the same procedure as adding any other event.
Step 1
Tap "Calendar" on the iPhone's home screen to launch the application.
Step 2
Select the date to which you want to add an event. For example, if your flight is on March 14th, select "March" and tap "14."
Step 3
Tap the "+" in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 4
Add the flight's name and location to the Title and Location fields.
Step 5
Enter the flight's time in the Starts field.
Step 6
Set an alert in the Alert field. You can set an alert from five minutes before the flight to two days before, ensuring you do not miss your flight.
Step 7
Tap "Done" to save your flight into the calendar.
